Our nursery in the Manchester area, located in Crumpsall. Our carefully designed nursery ensures that your child receives the best possible education and day care in Manchester. Your child’s preschool education is structured and balanced to meet the individual needs of each child.
If you are like most parents, you want your child to be educated in an environment where their intellectual abilities and self-esteem grow hand-in-hand, where imagination and curiosity are cultivated and where they learn to respect a wide range of cultures and people. We hold equality and diversity in very high regard.
Security – We have in place outdoor CCTV and a buzzer system at our private nursery: that staff monitor only allowing parents and staff entry to the building.
Our aims at Happy Tots Nursery are based upon the belief that a good quality Preschool nursery can fulfil a vital role in the development of children under the age of five. We strive to provide opportunities that will guide and assist the children in all areas of their development.
Our educational programme is designed in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
As a registered nursery we are bound under the Children’s Act to ensure that the children in our care are safe and protected. The welfare of children is of paramount importance.
At Happy Tots, we build our routines, planning and activities around the EYFS. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a play based framework acknowledging that every child is unique and that they learn and develop at different rates and in different ways. We ensure that each child has a key person to help them to develop, socialise and most importantly have fun whist at Happy Tots Nursery.
“The aim of the EYFS is to support schools, nurseries and child minders to make sure that children from all back grounds have the same opportunities and life chances as the most advantaged”
(Taken from the EYFS framework)
The EYFS is based on four themes;
A Unique Child
Every child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable and self assured.
Positive Relationships
Children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents/ carers.
Enabling environments
The environment plays a key role in supporting a child’s development.
Learning and Development
Children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates. Areas of learning are equally important and interconnected.
